Er is een nieuwe ontwikkelingsfase van Futsal binnen de KNVB. Vanaf januari 2024 wordt de term ‘zaalvoetbal’ bij de KNVB gewijzigd in ‘Futsal’. Ook de Eredivisie Zaalvoetbal gaat vanaf dat moment verder als Eredivisie Futsal. Pjotr van der Marel bespreekt met zijn sidekick Harm Zeinstra en tafelgast Mohamed Attaibi (programmamanager Futsal) over hoe groot de sport is in Nederland, hoe Futsal zorgt voor meer plezier en ontwikkeling onder (jeugd)voetballers en welke uitdagingen en kansen er liggen om de sport te laten groeien.
