Kika Buhrmann (43) is sinds april 2023 ceo van Nespresso Nederland. Haar eerste baan is de implementatie van haar masterscriptie op de Spaanse markt. Ze zet de Spaanse vestiging van studentenuitzendbureau LinQ op. In 2008 begint haar Nespresso-avontuur. Binnen 3 jaar is ze commercial director b2c Spanje. In 2013 gaat ze op het Zwitserse hoofdkantoor een wereldwijd transformatieproject leiden. Na 5 jaar maakt Buhrmann de oversteek naar New York, waar ze al snel benoemd wordt tot vice president sales USA. De tijd in New York is bepalend geweest voor haar verdere ontwikkeling. Covid, Black Lives Matter en de politieke polarisatie hebben impact op zowel de markt, de werknemers binnen Nespresso in de VS als ook op haar ontwikkeling als manager. Nu is Buhrmann voor het eerst in haar carrière werkzaam in Nederland, voor Nespresso een zeer belangrijke markt met voldoende uitdagingen.
