Dr. Jeremy Silver, MD, Medical Director of Emergency Medicine at Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital, joins Jim for this week’s health update. Dr. Silver starts this week by discussing how to keep yourself safe from the sun this summer, and the importance of using sunscreen correctly.

Then, Jim chats with Andy Masur about the Bears upcoming season, how the Bears did in this year’s draft, if Matt Eberflus is on the hot seat, and the latest news on the new Bears Stadium. Then, Erik Soderstrom, the Senior Artistic Producer for Ravinia, joins the show to discuss this year’s line-up, the show’s history, and the overall programming process!

Later, Jim talks about the recent resurgence of vinyl records and fond memories of the past. He is then joined by Mick Kaylor to continue this conversation about music history, and discuss trending topics in pop-culture such as the extreme popularity of Taylor Swift, the death of O.J. Simpson, and ‘instant’ celebrities.

He closes things out by discussing his new food discovery, overnight oats!
