Jason Coffrin is in constant pursuit of improvement. His passions include ultra running, bowhunting, and training his German Shepherds to track poachers with the Wilderness Initiative Trust Africa K9 unit. We discuss Jason's wild experience in both training and failing to complete 2 ultra-marathons before successfully completing one of the hardest ultra's in the country, the Moab 240. Also, Jason talks about his wild decision to leave a backcountry hike and drive to meet and train with the Bowrack crew in Oregon for a month when his hiking partners had to leave unexpectedly. We closed out our conversation discussing the process of training his dogs for his 2024 trip over to Africa to track poachers.
