Hello and welcome back to the time machine. I would like to start with an apology for taking a few days off last week for the holidays. We will resume programming as normal today and from now on. If future things arise I will be sure to mention it in advance or a chosen episode will air from my collection without an introduction.

Now, today we will travel back 72 years to 1950 and again join the mostly unknown, but always exciting tales from Cloak and Dagger. An NBC radio series that ran for 22 episodes, from May to October of that year, was the first program to tell real stories from the OSS or Office of Strategic Services across enemy lines in WWII.

Today we will join one of those brave men and women who risked their lives for intelligence, this time in Siam (now Thailand or more specifically Central and Southern Thailand). We will join a man on a dangerous mission as he has to learn to work together with the people to help all he can in the war against the Japanese.

This episode also has one other important interruption that I will play as it aired for folks on the night of Sunday, July 2nd, 1950. The Korean war had begun one week earlier. Please sit back, relax, and enjoy Cloak and Dagger with The Eyes of Buddah
