A Journey through Miscarriage
We were absolutely honoured and so grateful that we got to share this beautiful followers heart felt story with infertility, pcos, miscarriage and endometriosis.
A beautiful soul sent in her story for us to read on the podcast to spread some insight and knowledge in hope for other women who are on similar journeys to feel seen, remind you that you matter and that you are not alone. Thank you (you know who you are) for in trusting us to share your story in this way!
This story is shared for general knowledge and is not a replacement to seeking professional medical advice and comes with a trigger warning
“I hope that my story has empowered you to feel seen and heard.”
Message for the hosts;
To know that we have a platform for women to share their stories in what capacity it is for them is honestly a gift and a blessing
Some resources include:
- Red Nose Australia
- Pink Elephant Support network have been absolutely incredible. They have so many resources online for people going through miscarriage, support partners through miscarriage, or how to support a loved one going through miscarriage. I strongly suggest if supporting a loved one, to look into their resources first to educate yourself on the best way to support them. Pink elephants also have a podcast, Instagram page, podcast and support pages on facebook for different stages of your pregnancy journey. They also offer live chat support on certain days and times, and support programs that are free. Check out their website for more information.
- Zoe Clark-Coates is an author who has written several books that support different stages of your pregnancy journey, whether you have just suffered a loss or trying to conceive after loss. Her books also have journal prompts that you can follow throughout your pregnancy or after a loss, depending on the text you purchase.
- Around the due date we ordered a certificate of recognition from the Victorian Government, Births, Deaths and Marriages. Some states in Australia now offer this for early pregnancy loss and it was an easy process online. It was lovely to have our certificate arrive in the mail not long after our due date, and a beautiful reminder of our baby that we have framed in our house.
All our love,
Jules and Dayelene
