Pastor Brian King and DCE Emily Schatz join Mark and Julianna to talk about how we engage parents in youth ministry. Our conversation helps remind us to support and care for the parents of our youth as a part of youth ministry.

Bio:

Pastor Brian King graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan before going to Seminary. He has served at Webster Gardens since 1998. He and his wife Liz have two kids. He has never seen a documentary he didn’t like.

DCE Emily Schatz graduated from Concordia University Chicago in 2016. She served in Washington and Colorado before joining the staff at Webster Gardens in 2021. Emily has focused on middle school and high school students in her congregations. Emily grew up in St. Louis and was excited to move back here with her husband and three daughters to be closer to her parents and extended family.
