En el corazón de la primera capital de Finlandia, Turku, se encuentra el Kauppahalli, el mercado central de la ciudad, un espacio altamente concurrido por ofrecer una amplia variedad de restaurantes de diferentes estilos, como también una serie de productos alimenticios para todos los gustos.

Ahí, encontramos un rincón especial que lleva el sabor de México a tierras nórdicas: Café Chingón, un restaurante mexicano familiar, que busca resguardar la tradición y legado gastronómico, del país azteca.

Conversamos con su cofundadora, Adriana Estrada (su esposo es también su socio) y nos habló del proceso y pasos para abrirse camino en un país tan distinto a su México natal y las aventuras de emprender en un nuevo lugar.

In the heart of Finland's first capital, ⁠Turku⁠, lies the ⁠Kauppahalli⁠, the city's central market, a highly frequented space offering a wide variety of restaurants in different styles, as well as a range of food products for all tastes.

There, we find a special corner bringing the flavors of Mexico to the Nordic lands: ⁠Café Chingón⁠, a family-run Mexican restaurant that seeks to preserve the culinary tradition and legacy of the Aztec nation.

We spoke with its co-founder, ⁠Adriana Estrada⁠ (her husband is also her business partner), and she told us about the process and steps taken to make their way in a country so different from their native Mexico, and the adventures of starting a business in a new place.
