We are so consumed with the idolatry of the individual that we have found all kinds of ways to live out this worship of the self. We are in so deep, the words here we read from the Scriptures are hard for us to hear as we really let them mean what they mean. Paul explains more – “just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, 5 so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.” But the implications of this will not be easy for us individual addicts. God has given each of us faith, but that faith can’t be fulfilled on its own.
