Manage episode 382667804 series 3527197
Welcome to the "Everything But the Lesson Plan", a podcast brought to you by Thrive12. This episode is about impostor syndrome. Also known as impostor phenomenon or impostorism, is a psychological pattern in which an individual doubts their own accomplishments and has a persistent internalized fear of being exposed as a "fraud," despite evidence of their competence, skills, and achievements. Impostor syndrome can affect anyone, regardless of their actual level of competence or expertise, and it is not limited to a particular gender, age group, or profession. It is a common phenomenon among high-achieving individuals, particularly in fields where success is subjective and achievements are not always quantifiable. We speak with Aviann Morris about her journey with “ Imposter Syndrome”.
