We recorded this interview on the eve of International Women’s Day 2019. Our guest Dr Anuradha Balaram is the First Chief Economic Adviser to the State Planning Board, Government of Kerala, India. She is a Post Grad. in Economic Honours from Madras university, MPhil from University of Manchaster and PhD from IIT Delhi. She joined Indian Economic Services in year 1986. Her husband Mr Ajit Balaram has worked in Merchant Navy and presently working as Mooring Master. They have a daughter who is a Graphic Designer.
