Here we are at the end of the first season of Discuss All Monsters! Nicky and Wyatt talk about Ishiro Honda's heartfelt sendoff, Terror of Mechagodzilla, and how it's uh... actually better than that first Mechagodzilla by a good margin! It's been a long journey up to this point and we talk about the movie's themes and even how Godzilla seems to be adapting to the then-new hero-centric landscape of Tokusatsu in the 70s.
Thank all of you for listening and joining us on this wild ride up to the end of Godzilla's first era. There is more, however we're gonna tackle that at a later date. First we'll deliver up a little bonus we've got cooking up and then our second season featuring the friend to all children, GAMERA.
