Bu eser Abdülkâdir Geylânî Hazretlerinin Hicri 545-546 yıllarında, Bağdat halkına ve misaﬁr ve yolcu olarak dergahına uğrayanlara hitaben medresesi ve dergahında yapmış olduğu marifet nurlarıyla dolu sohbet ve vaazlarından derlenmiştir. Toplam 62 adet sohbetten meydana gelen bu eser, Abdülkâdir Geylânî Hazretlerinin Aﬁf adındaki talebesi tarafından aynen kaydedilmiştir.
