In another moment of amazing planning, we have read two books back to back that can be related to each other! This week we are starting Matt Haig's The Comfort Book, which did the whole hope thing much better than our last read, Everything is Fucked. In Haig's book, he has written a book filled with blurbs. Each blurb ranges anywhere from a few lines to a few pages, and the book is broken into four parts. In the first two parts, which Brittany has dubbed "Birth" and "Water," Haig dips into themes of comforting lists, hope, self-validation, and getting through hardship. We learn, for the first time, Catherine's true feelings on bread and Brittany is sick! This, and more, on your favorite podcast.
