Danielle Calder from @daniellecalder_ formerly @theremaybetypos joins us again to discuss healing from religious trauma, deconstruction and reconstruction and faith affirming therapy. Cognitive dissonance lives on both sides of the faith divide with believers and nonbelievers alike. To those who claim belief, not everything makes sense. Not all loose ends are tied up; not every question finds it’s answer. Our Latter-day history can be perplexing, some parts leave even the devout wondering; not all prayers find answers. The doctrines Christ professed in that time proved to be more provocative than peaceful, perhaps more cognitive dissonance than resolution. Wherever you are on journey, whatever experiences you have had, there are resources to help and there is healing that can take place. We hope this conversation helps. This week's episode is sponsored by MixHers. We are happy to give our listeners 10% off (that can also be added to the subscription which is 20% off = 30% total).
