Fevzi Turkalp, the Gadget Detective, joins Eddie Nestor on BBC Radio London to discuss the latest tech news. On the show, AI is back in the spotlight as 1000 members of the Future of Life Institute, including Elon Musk, Steve Wozniak and other tech luminaries call for the brakes to be put on development until a moratorium can agree which safeguards can be put into place to stop it becoming too powerful to control. Plus TikTok continues to cause controversy as the US and UK governments consider banning it amid fears the Chinese government is using it to obtain users' data and compromise security.

Third Gadget featured is the Eufy RoboVax X8 Hybrid. This robot vacuum cleaner is both a vacuum and mop, using a built in water tank, and is powerful enough to pull up pet hair. With a laser system that scans the room to allow it to avoid obstacles, and enough memory to store several rooms' maps.
