2016 has been insanely intense and not always easy to handle. The whole year felt as an emotional roller-coaster, looking at it from any perspective. From political point it showed rise in power of right wings parties and their candidates in majority of the countries, world wide tragedies, wars, terrorist attacks and similar. It also felt as an end of an era in some way since several awesome, legendary people passed away: David Bowie, Prince, Muhammad Ali, Leonard Cohen and unfortunately, many others. Personally to me, 2016 brought heavy, stressful times that mixed up with fortunately, some good moments as well, brought an impressive amount of self reflection. And talking to my friends and artists that I interviewed, most of the people felt the same. I don't know what caused all of this to happen and if this is just a beginning of some dark times. Or maybe I am feeling this way at the moment only because I watched Star Wars two days ago ;-). But I am a true optimist at heart and I look at the world from the perspective that any experience is a good one because it always brings some lessons with it. So even though I am really exhausted at the moment, I am finishing 2016 feeling stronger, capable to deal with whatever comes my way and even more optimistic about future.
