The Temple Door
We spend a lot of time waiting: traffic, drive-thru, checkout, the doctor, and customer service. We also wait for more important things too - test results, grades, and promises to be fulfilled. In the Christmas story we meet two people who had been waiting for decades to become parents, with no answer. They had given up hope, but then in the blink of an eye their hope was restored. As we get closer to Christmas, we'll be reminded of the importance of holding on to hope. Even though we can't see or feel what's happening, we can trust that God is working. God will answer, and what we need to do is keep our hope in the Lord.
