Worry and meditation are both concentrating your thoughts. Use yoga, relaxation and CBT to relieve stress and anxiety. CBT stands for cognitive behavioral therapy - retraining your thoughts and perceptions to have a healrhier outlook and become happier. If you know how to worry, you know how to meditate. These 2 concepts seem complete opposites but both are ways you direct your thoughts and repeat these same thoughts in a loop. Worrying is concentrating on the negatives, meditation is retraining those thoughts ro be more positive in order to release the negative to find peace. CBT is retraining the mind to put a better spin on those worries by realizing they are thoughts so you can find ways to take action or find new more positive thoughts to replace them and have a better outlook and overall feeling in a happier direction. Yoga can be relaxing and exercise, but you can find many healthy ways to relax. Sitting in the sunshine or taking up a fun hobby can help retrain your brain to let go of the thoughts that no longer serve you well.
