Vandaag werd vurig gedebatteerd over de zogenaamde terugkeerhubs. Europarlementariër Tineke Strik (GL) liet zich kritisch uit op het idee en vindt dat landen hun EU-verplichtingen niet serieus nemen. Ook de liberalen, de RENEW-partij, waren kritisch. Malik Azmani, van de VVD en ook lid van de RENEW-partij, hield zich meer op de vlakte. Volgens Europaverslaggever Michal van de Toorn praatte hij bijna de exacte woorden van Schoof na.
