Welcome to this weeks episode of Heavy Metal History. My guest is Frank Fanelli, vocalist of the band The World We Knew. This episode we dont talk much about Frank’s history with the genre, but more about his For the Nomads fundraiser which is something near and dear to my heart. For the Nomads is set up to help road crew such as Merch people, Sound guys, guitar techs and all the people that work behind the scenes in the industry that are out of work for the foreseeable future due to the pandemic. Frank has raised over 100k for crew people over 3 separate auctions since March. We talk about this, tour stories and what the future holds for the metal scene in general.
