Season 4, The Birth of Christ: The Midwife
Manage episode 390529181 series 3487471
She is an imagined character, but she was surely there, a midwife to help the young Mary give birth to her first baby.
What if the midwife was local to Bethlehem?
What if she had already helped the aging Elizabeth give birth to her one and only child?
Even though the character is imagined, there is historical material throughout this episode.
I lose my accent somewhere in the middle--oops!--and this was originally presented on a Sunday morning at my church, and I spoke too loud for the mic right in the first minute of the presentation, but after that, everything settled down, and we all had fun with it,
I hope you enjoy it, too.
