It's Monday, April 1st, 2024 and welcome to the April edition of Hills Review -- the High School East Student Podcast. Many students don't take the time to realize how important sleep is in our lives. On Tuesday, Darren Figueroa speaks about his experiences with sleep and how it connects to his performance in school–and his overall mood. Many people don’t think about how they are being affected by social media and other online social platforms. Ava Krasin takes time on Wednesday to speak with a social worker and marketing major to shed some light on the impact of our time online. Students all over the world are becoming accustomed to an increased use of technology in the classroom. This Thursday, Joseph Masalin makes the case for the continued implementation of technology in schools, and explains the positive effects of tech on students and staff. For many students, the idea of continuing straight through from high school to college is too much. For them, a gap year is just what is needed. But is it a good idea? This Friday, we ask students around High School East to share their thoughts on taking a gap year. Hills Review is produced by members of the Podcasting and Filmmaking Club.
