台積電位於熊本縣的日本子公司由於保密需求，工廠的資訊管理極為嚴格。不過最近有日本媒體獲准採訪後，也讓外界首次窺見廠內的員工餐廳。為了因應工廠全天候運作，員工餐廳從凌晨3點營業到隔天深夜1點半，販售品項包括咖哩飯、蕎麥麵、烏龍麵、拉麵等菜色。
