How Jesus Sees People

When we see people we often see them stuck in their sin. When Jesus sees people He always sees their potential for healing and forgiveness. What would happen church, if we consistently saw people that way? We see Jesus’ commitment to doing what He had come to do for those who would receive it, regardless of the opposition of those who would not. The disciples did not look at the blind man as an object of mercy, but rather as a subject for a theological discussion. It is much easier to discuss an abstract subject like “sin” than it is to minister to a concrete need in the life of a person right in front of us.
