In this episode Alex Forrest (Alex Forrest, @380khm) and myself (Night Errantry, @NightErrantry, Páidín) discuss the development of cities, their importance to a nation and what the “just move to the woods, bro” meme really means for people on “the right”. In addition, as usual, a number of sundry topics are discussed.
***
Its unfortunate that we did not discuss trains more than just a small bit, but this is why friends return to In Taberna: to keep conversing. We were both getting mildly inebriated as the conversation drew on. I remember once going on a train ride when I was very small. It was very nice though I almost swallowed a Transformer’s dinosaur toy (I believe it was Megatron. I remember the purple t-rex head) and nearly choked to death. We stopped at a small southern Colorado town where they had a heated outdoor pool just outside of a wood. A nice gentleman with antlers on his head told me that one day I would travel through a haunted forest at night, at high speeds and if a descendant of English recusant Catholics was not with me I would perish. I did not chastise Alex enough for his driving that fall I visited him.
We apologize for the audio, we will find a way to account for it in the future.
