On this episode of The Insuring Cyber Podcast, two guests joined from the RIMS RISKWORLD conference, held in May in San Diego. Bob Parisi, head of Cyber Solutions for North America at Munich Re, discussed current trends in the evolving cyber insurance landscape, the persistent threat of ransomware, and the impact of AI on cybersecurity. He also talked about recent SEC requirements and the growing involvement of boards and directors in cyber risk management.

Later at the conference, Yoni Sherizen, co-founder and CEO of Gabriel, shared how the InsurTech focuses on minimizing risks from workplace violence and mass shootings with the latest technology. He discussed the importance of tech innovation for a proactive approach to these threats through early detection, alerting, and response measures.
