作为视觉动物，人类的很多活动和行为都非常依赖眼睛，眼睛为大脑提供了大量的信息，甚至在很多感知觉上，出现了视觉主导的现象。同时，眼睛也是非常脆弱的器官，会出现各种各样的病变，有的病变甚至会造成失明。2010年世界卫生组织公布的数据表明，全球有近3亿人有视觉障碍，有近四千万的盲人。为了让患者恢复视力，提高生活质量，研究者们提出了各类解决方案。比如，部分盲人可以通过植入人工视网膜，依靠仿生眼重获光明。目前，已经有人工视网膜产品通过了美国和欧盟的卫生部门批准，进入临床应用。
仿生眼（人工视网膜）到底是怎么工作的呢？它能让盲人看到什么呢？它离普通人还有多远呢？今天我们就来聊一聊视觉重塑和人工视网膜。
