Many of us have experienced this shortage of funds, but haven’t really thought about where it’s coming from. This can have a big impact on our lives and our businesses.
As women and business owners, we have a lot to balance in our lives. Let’s be honest, sometimes the way we spend our money in our personal life isn’t exactly the way we spend money in our businesses.
Business expenses are a lot different than what we spend in our personal lives, and can therefore be confusing. You can spend years upon years dumping money into your business, but no results will come of it if you don’t pay attention to your end game.
As business owners, we sometimes move forward without a strategy. We think that if we spend a lot of money on something, then it will surely work out. But, this may not always be true.
It’s important to stop for a moment and pay attention to your money. Examine what the returns will be on your investments before you make them.
Another thing to consider is having money stored in case something goes wrong. Having a rainy day fund is so important. When you have money saved, you will be able to build your business for the future instead of working from one day to the next without a future in mind.
