魏連嶽是第一代基督徒
曾經混過黑道好幾年
當兵時遇到芬蘭宣教士
被他的舉動所感動
本來念放牛班的他 在宣教士的鼓勵下決定去考大學
因為想要當老師 幫助學子走上正路
考上國立台北教育大學
第一份工作是到盲人學校當老師
同時在教會服事的他
服事一段時間後覺得神學知識不夠
就去讀了中原大學宗教研究所
一邊教書 一邊讀書 一邊服事
唸到讀出興趣
靠念哲學和神學來放鬆
還到英國念到博士
回台灣進到衛理神學院教書
也到許多地方做生命教育的分享
其著作『死亡神學』更讓人對死亡與生命有不同的看見
