County officials in New Jersey have been scrambling to come up with a new design to comply with a court order after a judge ruled that the state's unique county-line ballot format was unfair. Now, a bipartisan panel of lawmakers will sit down and work out the details. Six Democrats and six Republicans will seek out expert testimony on ballot design and hold public hearings for residents to weigh in.
