106. In this episode our guest is Rene Reyes and he is the VP and executive director of programming for the Paley Center for Media. If you're not familiar with the Paley Center for Media it is a non profit organization that preserves and champions television history and excellence. Not only do they have one of the largest archives in the world for the history of television, radio and now emerging digital platforms, but they make some of it publicly accessible to all of us. They also host an annual public program called the Paley Fest that gives the public an inside look at how television shows are made with special guests and presentations from people inside the industry.. All of this is with the primary goal of helping preserve and celebrate TV history. Rene is going to talk to us about his career journey, share a little about his life in LA, and all the inside secrets of the Paley Center for Media.
