Cam Ward and Xavier Restrepo connected on the highlight of spring practices so far. On Wednesday morning, Restrepo adjusted and contorted his body to bring down a deep ball from Ward in the end zone despite tight coverage, and a pass interference flag, on the safety covering him. Other receivers, including true freshmen Joshisa Trader and Ny Carr, stepped up too. After practice, offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson and Restrepo both talked about the hard work that Ward is putting in to build chemistry with his teammates.

Host Alex Donno breaks down Miami’s Wednesday practice. Donno got a good look at the safeties and cornerbacks. Mishael Powell and Savion Riley appear to be the top two safeties at the moment.
