The ACC and Florida State are locked in a legal battle, which could result in the Seminoles and the Clemson Tigers jumping ship. We look at the variety of ways this move could impact the Gonzaga Bulldogs and their quest to join a new conference. The Big 12 may land FSU and Clemson, likely eliminating the desire to add the Zags, while a full-on collapse from the ACC could lead to many programs joining the Big 12 and potentially some in the Big East as well, like Syracuse and Louisville.

This particular situation could also lead to Stanford and Cal linking back up with Washington State and Oregon State, bringing SMU along with them and poaching from the Mountain West. Could a conference made up of those five schools, plus five brands from the MWC and Memphis be appealing to Gonzaga? Would they leave the WCC for it?
