MySchool.edu.au is a government website where the public look up government and private schools, and have access to data such as the schools NAPLAN performance and the schools index of community socio-educational advantage also known as ICSEA. Displaying this data may have had unintended consequences. When numerical measures are designed for people they may focus on achieving better numbers, but do these numbers necessarily reflect what they are trying to reflect?
