Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam telah mengkhawatirkan fitnah (kesesatan) syahwat dan fitnah syubhat terhadap umatnya. Beliau shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersabda: “Sesungguhnya di antara yang aku takutkan atas kamu adalah syahwat mengikuti nafsu pada perut kamu dan pada kemaluan kamu serta fitnah-fitnah yang menyesatkan” (Terjemah H.R Ahmad).
