In 494 BC the Roman Plebians, the commoners, made a move out of their city to Mons Sacer causing the function of their capital to halt and the ruling classes to pay attention to the demands of the commoner. This was known as Secessio Plebis and occurred many another 4 times over the next 2-3 centuries. Seemingly controlled by lobbyists, both corporate, globalist and foreign, are western governments no longer concerned about the well-being and will of the commoners? Is it time for us to learn a lesson from the ancient Romans and Secessio Plebis? * In this episode I incorrectly refer to Thomas Massie as a US senator. He is a United States Representative for Kentucky's 4th Congressional District. I also use the term Senator incorrectly where I should more broadly have used 'representative' which could be either a Representative, Senator or other elected member - 'politician' would have been a more suitable word to use here.Want to listen to more episodes?
