Never has such a dominant victory provided so much pointless drama! The timing sheet will say that McLaren had a 1-2 finish by 14 seconds ahead of Lewis Hamilton’s 200th career podium in third. But in reality, an ugly team orders scandal broke out that marred Oscar Piastri's first win as Lando Norris was given the lead due to an undercut from the McLaren pitwall and it led to the team begging him to give the win away, which he eventually did.
