Zu seinem Film "Cloud" Im Frühjahr hatte Kiyoshi Kurosawa erst seinen hypnotischen Psocho-Horror Chime auf der Berlinale, im Herbst steht San Sebastian mit seinem neusten Werk The Serpent's Path auf der Agenda. Dazwischen hatte der für seine sardonischen Genre-Filme bekannte Regisseur noch reichlich Inspiration für sein aktuelles Werk. Cloud vereint pechschwarzen Humor, Noir-Suspense und Action zu buchstäblichen Höllentrip. In Venedig nahm sich vielbeschäftigte Filmemacher trotz Termin-Druck Zeit für ein Interview mit Lidanoir.
