In our weekly segment 'Understanding Genocide' together with Gina Christian (@GinaJesseReina on Twitter) and our Co-Hosts Prince Heather and Nancy, (@Princexxxii & @ncljax on Twitter) we review and analyse the ongoing genocide in Ukraine.

During the segment we discuss the challenges of proving intent, the atrocities, the pursuit of data, detail, evidence.

Gina, Nancy, and Prince Heather discuss the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and the reluctance of many to label it as genocide. The hosts express frustration at the global community's lack of action and the normalization of violence in situations like this.

They emphasize the importance of acknowledging and addressing genocides to prevent further loss of life and uphold human dignity.

The discussion also touches on the psychological impact of war, the role of journalists in reporting genocides, and the need for continuous public awareness and pressure on governments to act.

The speakers call for more robust and consistent international responses to genocides and criticize the tendency to view certain levels of violence as acceptable.
