This new development (concession?) is overshadowed by the heartbreaking reality: innocent lives lost, many injured, and others still abducted. Before that, gaslighting and a lack of empathy.

This is still far cry from #TheKenyaWeWant.

An mchanga account is asking for donations to support the families of those affected during the protests. Please contribute.

We face a long road to economic, psychological, and political freedom.

We still have a long way to go as well, in achieving Menstrual Equity, with 65% of women and girls in Kenya still not able to access menstrual products.

A few of us connected ahead of Tuesday's protests to highlight the journey of Menstrual Justice in Kenya.
