NasCardRadio Episode 151: The guys start the show with special guest Kirk aka MrMint23. He’s been collecting autographed rookie cards back when it was taboo in the hobby. He has amassed an amazing amount of autographed Hall of Fame rookie cards. We discuss preparing and all the steps he takes before ink gets applied to his cards. It's a great learning experience no matter which sports you collect. Next the guys review last week’s Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course Craftsman Truck Series race (Corey Heim) Atlanta Motor Speedway Xfinity Series (John Hunter Nemechek) and Atlanta Motor Speedway Cup (William Byron) winners, highest finishing rookies (Nick Sanchez, Sammy Smith, and Noah Gragson) and their rookie trading cards. Over the pond at the British Grand Prix Max Verstappen was the winner and we discuss his first trading cards. The guys discuss the new F1 movie being filmed at this year’s British Grand Prix and NASCAR announced the list of nominees for selection to the 2024 NASCAR Hall of Fame. The guys make their picks. Finally, there are some groovy sweet eBay auctions in ‘The Kings Court’. Special thanks to Kirk for taking time to discuss his journey. #thehobby #tradingcards
