Unsere Review und Kritik zur zweiteiligen Fortsetzung des Animations-Meisterwerks Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Teil 1 heißt Across the Spider-Verse und läuft seit dem 31. Mai 2023 in den Kinos.
Wieder von den Erfolgsproduzenten Phil Lord und Chris Miller (The Lego Movie, 21 Jump Street) und ihrem Co-Autoren Dave Callaham (Shang-Chi, Mortal Kombat). Regie führten diesmal Joaquim Dos Santos (Avatar), Kemp Powers (Soul) und Justin K. Thompson (Star Wars: Clone Wars).
Wieder mit Shameik Moore (Dope) als Miles Morales, Hailee Steinfeld (Hawkeye) als Gwen Stacy und Jake Johnson (Jurassic World) als Peter Parker aus dem ersten Film, der hierzulande A New Universe heißt.
Neu mit dabei sind u.a. Oscar Isaac (Dune) als Miguel O'Hara und Jason Schwartzman (Asteroid City) als The Spot.
Die Fortsetzung Beyond the Spider-Verse soll bereits kommendes Jahr am 28. März 2024 erscheinen und wurde back-to-back zu Teil 1 gedreht und wäre dann der vorläufige Abschluss der Trilogie.
