On this week's episode we're joined by the most winningest New Yorker Caption Contest Finalist in 2023 and any single year in the history of the contest, Carol Lasky and second place most winningest in any single year in the history of the contest, her son Colin Mills. Carol had 5 finalist captions in TNY Caption Contest this year and Colin had 4. They speak with us about this incredible achievement and reveal some of their strategies for writing captions. We then discuss the winning caption for contest #873 (Mr. Potatoe Head), finalists for contest #875 (geese holding briefcases) and current contest #877 (emoji heads).
