Barry first found music when he borrowed his sister's record collection when he was about eight and was hooked. When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. This week's guest Kim Adamson is a legend from the 'Golden age’ of radio in New Zealand with 50+ years of experience. Kim was a breakfast radio host for over 25 years and was a part of the infamous Kim&Corbett on MoreFM. He has also been Program Director for Radio Hauraki, & Triple M 89 FM, Creative Director for Radio Hauraki, and produced radio legend Blackie. After hanging up the headphones after Kim&Corbett ended he now teaches full time at the New Zealand Radio Training School, preparing the next generation of radio stars.
