It's almost been 30 days since the new rules were ushered in from the Superintendent of Real Estate and The Council. While many REALTORS® in the province are still waiting to receive their training on how the new rules work, we have had to get up to speed as quickly as possible as we continue to serve our Buyers and Sellers in their real estate transactions. Through this process, there have been many new scenarios that agents are finding themselves in. Some we anticipated, and others we haven't. But in this short amount of time, there have been some new best practices rising to the surface, and that's what we are going to be speaking about this week on The Vancouver Island Real Estate Show. We will be speaking with top 2% Fraser Valley REALTOR® and President-Elect for the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board, Darin Germyn. Over the past couple weeks, Darin put a survey out to Top Producing agents he knows the province that ran through some prevalent scenarios we find ourselves in as agents that are now a challenge under the new rules, got their ideas what the solutions could be to those challenges. He received some great feedback and Darin, and I will be digging deeper into them in our discussion. Make sure you tune and watch it LIVE on Facebook.
