He tells about what it was like raising a young family in a refugee camp, his move to Nova Scotia, becoming a firefighter, and making a name as someone who gives back to his community. This quality found its ultimate expression via his decision to enter politics and become a member of Nova Scotia’s Legislative Assembly.
