Who didn’t love the movie Mean Girls? It’s became a part of our cultural experience and history. Among the movie’s stars is Daniel Franzese who played the gay character, Damian, and who appears at the Venus Cabaret to do stand-up the weekend of June 7^th – 9^th.

But this interview illustrates that there is so much more to Daniel than his iconic role. In the interview he discusses his work along the whole spectrum of projects from serious to comedic including the great film: “Bully,” and TV’s “Looking” and the finale: “Looking: the Movie:” He’s worked on RuPaul and in Lisa Kudrow’s “The Comeback.”

And Daniel is a man of faith and activism whose efforts reach far and wide.
