Cara is a final year PhD student at Tyndall National Institue in the area of theoretical chemistry. She completed her Leaving Certificate and Undergraduate studies in Cork, having come to Ireland from Germany as a visiting student as a teenager. Cara tells her story on how she ended up studying for a PhD in UCC and shows the importance of following your gut regarding your education and career path!
