Monarch Grief Center is located at 314 Louisiana Ave in Perrysburg, OH. Their website is www.monarchgriefcenter.org.

I have passed the Monarch Grief Center on foot many times during the Perrysburg Farmers Market on Thursdays in historic, downtown Perrysburg (May through October). The Monarch Butterfly on the sign in front of their office is easy to spot.

This episode gave me an opportunity to tour the Center, talk to the Executive Director (Tim Polakowski), and learn what Monarch Grief Center is, services they offer, and why they chose to set up shop in Perrysburg.

The timing of this episode is important. As I record this, Thanksgiving is just a few days away, and Christmas is next month. The holidays can be emotionally difficult for people who are grieving (especially for those who are facing an upcoming loss or have recently lost someone). If you know someone who might need grief counseling, please share this episode with them.

⭐️ Special thanks to Alice Buehrle from Episode 18 of The Perrysburg Podcast for introducing me to Tim Polakowski at the Norma Stark Memory Garden and Labyrinth in June 2024. ⭐️
